Is that Comfy?
Every morning I get up and check on our dog snap, usually she is sleeping in her dog house. Not today! Snap digs this huge hole at least 3 times a week and Dusten fills it in everytime. I guess she thought that if she slept in it he wouldn't fill it in.
I thought it was funny so, not to wake her up I took the pictures from inside my house.
I don't think that I have said much about Snap since we have got her. Snap was Dustens Easter present last year. Dusten has always wanted a red heeler since he was little. When our other dog Jake passed away I decided I would look for a red heeler for him. Landons co-worker had a red heeler puppy for free so Landon and Lacey met us in Beaver with her. She is the best dog ever. Dusten and her are inseperable, she rides in the front seat of his jeep. I guess freebies are the best, but I would have paid money for her she is such a good dog.

I thought this was so true!
FORGET REDNECKS; THIS IS WHAT JEFF FOXWORTHY HAD TO SAY ABOUT UTAHNS!
If your local Dairy Queen is closed from September to May, you live in Utah .
If someone in a Home Depot store offers you assistance and they don't work there, you live in Utah .
If you've worn shorts and a parka at the same time, you live in Utah
If you've had a lengthy telephone conversation with someone who dialed the wrong number, you live in Utah .
If 'vacation' means going anywhere south of Salt Lake City for the weekend, you live in Utah .
If you measure distance in hours, you live in Utah .
If you know several people who have hit a deer more than once, you live in Utah .
If you have switched from 'heat' to 'A/C' and back again in the same day, you live in Utah .
If you install security lights on your house and garage but leave both unlocked, you live in Utah .
If you can drive 75 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard without flinching, you live in Utah .
If you design your kid's Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit, you live in Utah .
If the speed limit on the highway is 75 mph -- you're going 80, and everyone is still passing you, you live in Utah .
If driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled with snow, you live in Utah .
If you know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter, and road construction, you live in Utah .
If you find 10 degrees 'a little chilly' you live in Utah .

UPDATE ON US!
Well I thought that since I haven't updated since November I thought that I should do an update on us.
December- We had a great Christmas with our families. A couple days after christmas we had the Brown family Christmas party and Laceys baby shower. It was fun to be together with all my family again.
January- was very stressfull with my job because of the economy. I know for a few days there it was really scary to go to work because you didn't know if you had a job or not. I went to Landon and Laceys in Cedar and then we went to St. George and did some shopping and went to lunch and it was really fun. Lacey and I got our awesome PHAT BABY boots, they are so comfy!
February- Our family got the best blessing in the world ever. JAYLEIGH!!!
That was the best experience in the world ever. I can't believe how a baby makes you happy and smile. I wish that Landon, Lacey and Jayleigh lived closer so we could see them more. I love what Jayleigh does to Dusten. Its so cute when he holds her because he talks to her and holds her hand. I think that it just amazes him how small she is. It makes me happy watching him with her because he comes off as a hard person but then you see him with her and he is such a sweet, caring, loving big teddy bear.
The week before Jayleigh was born I was getting up from my computer and fell on one of Maceys dog toys. I twisted my ankle pretty bad but I was more worried about my arm, I was sure that it was broken. After I got up off the floor my arm started to feel better but my ankle still hurt pretty bad. Well anyways to make a long story short my ankle wasn't feeling any better so a couple of days after Jayleigh was born I decided to go to the doctor. The doctor decided that I needed an x-ray to check for any breaks. After I got done with the x-rays the guys that took my pictures told me that I needed to go back to the doctors office. When I got back the nurse put me in a room and said that the doctor would be right in. I was thinking that it was a sprain and no big deal....right, the doctor came in and said that he needed to put a cast on it because I had tore/stretched the achillies tendon. I guess I didn't realilize how serious that is until he told me that it controls the function of your ankle and if it never gets better than you lose the function of your ankle forever. So anyways I ended up with a soft cast and cruches for 10 days and then after that I had to wear a walking cast for 10 days. I had to take a leave of absence from my job because I wasn't "supposed" to put any weight on it at all. Well i kinda cheated about the walking part because I told Landon and Lacey that I would help them out after Jayleigh came home. After I got my walking cast I went back to work. Don't ever wish cruches on anyone, It is so miserable!!
Back on track now March-
Nothing really important happend but I did get my dream car thanks to Dusten.
It was kinda weird how it happened because we were not looking to buy a new car at all, I was totally happy with the one that I had. Dusten had gone to get a part for my car because the window was leaking and he was going to fix it. Well he came home and told me that he had seen this beautiful black Pontiac G6(and yes he used the word beautiful)and he wanted to go test drive it. I'm thinkin in my head this car can't be that nice but oh well for him we will go drive it. When I seen it I knew that it was going to be mine, needless to say we drove home with the car. The dealer told us that he had bought it at an auction in Vegas and that we could take it for the weekend and get back with him on Monday. I don't know about you but I get anxiety about buying used cars because you just never know anything about them. Well I seen this commercial on T.V. about the Carfax report and so I decided to try it. Its so cool because it tells you everthing about the car. The car was a lease return, it had 1 owner, it had been in the shop 3 times for repairs on the visor which is still broke and that it was bought in California. That carfax report cost me 30 dollars but it was so worth it. Anyways we have had to get a few things fixed but it was 5 thousand dollars below low book so we bought it. I will post pictures of it later.
April-
Well Dusten has had the stomach flu from hell and that isn't a joke. He was so sick that he asked me to take him to the hospital. Anyone that knows Dusten knows that he doesn't go to the doctor in fact he hadn't been there in 13 years so if he is telling you that he needs to go then he is way sick. We also found out that he is 3 points away from diabetes so he had to quit drinking soda. I didn't think that he could do it but he did. I bet he has lost 10 pounds already.
Anyways after I have rambled on for forever I will try to update more often. Our lives are so boring we really don't have much going on.

LIFE!!!!!
Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right.Forget about the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
This is one of my favorite quotes so I thought I would share it.

Thankful: Day 5 & 6 Food and a safe place to live!
When there are bad economic times a lot of people are homeless and have no food, so today I want everyone to know how thankful that I am to have a roof over my head and a warm meal to eat everyday. Without food we wouldn't survive and without a home we would freeze. I know my home isn't the best but its a home and its a comfortable loving place that I like to be. P.S. look for future posts in the spring because our house is getting a long needed painting job.

Thankful: Day 4 Friends
Today I just want my friends (Ashley, Melissa, Mandi) and a whole bunch others to know how thankful that I am that they are my friends. We have been through good times and bad and we are still strong friends as ever. So thank you for being my friends.
